Swiatek recently won the Italian Open by beating Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka 6-2, 6-3. Now her target is to lift her fourth singles title at the Roland Garros. Regarding her doubles event, Roland Garros or WTA has not announced anything yet, so Swiatek might have shared the Instagram story for training purposes.

Notably, Swiatek has participated in the 2021 doubles events in Paris by teaming up with America’s Bethanie Mattek-Sands. They advanced to the final but got beaten by the Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova 6-4, 6-2.

In the 2020 edition, the Pole joined hands with America’s Nicole Melichar-Martinez and made it to the semifinals, where they lost to the pair of Alexa Guarachi and Desirae Krawczyk 7-6, 1-6, 6-4.

Iga Swiatek stays humble after Italian Open win

Iga Swiatek is all set to become the first player to win tournaments in Madrid, Rome, and Paris after Serena Williams, who achieved the feat in 2013. However, Swiatek, a three-time champion in France, knows very well that the clay-court Grand Slam event is not easy to win.

Swaitek said that although she enjoys playing in Paris, she remains grounded and doesn’t take things for granted in spite of her victories in Madrid and Rome

Obviously, I am confident. I feel like I'm playing great tennis, but that doesn't change the fact that I just want to stay humble. Grand Slams are different. There's a lot of different pressure on the court and off the court. Of course, I would love to come to Paris and be there.  Iga Swiatek said at the press conference after beating Aryna Sabalenka

In last year’s Roland Garros, Swiatek overcame Karolina Muchova in three sets 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 to win the title. She lifted her first title in 2020 by beating Sofia Kenin, then defeated current World No.3 Coco Gauff in the 2022 final.

The World No.1 has added four titles to her trophy cabinet this year so far by winning the Qatar Open, Indian Wells Masters, Madrid Open, and the Italian Open. She has an impressive 38-4 win-loss record this season as well.
